OPTIMUM NUTRITION
Order to each human nutritional needs vary depending on various factors, age, gender. Newborn's needs are different from adults and elderly. So also with man's nutritional needs differ from woman's nutritional needs. Even the nutritional requirements for adult women, adolescent women, pregnant women, lactating women differ from one another.
Nutritional needs are balance, and suitability intake with our individual needs. Our bodies need a balance of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. These three components are the basic components to achieve optimum nutritional needs.
Beside to these three basic components, vitamins, minerals, iron, zinc, fiber and various other components are also badly needed by our bodies. All these components can be found from various sources of food we eat. There are no one food that can meet the needs of the body. Therefore the balance of food intake, need to be noticed to meet the needs of optimum nutrition.
Quality of food also must be considered, ranging from how to choose food, cleaning, processing, and serving it. Should be completely healthy, this is useful for our body. Rather than want to be healthy, even so the disease if we do not really choose the quality of food.
In addition, nutritional quality should really be noticed. So that unhealthy food will not enter into our stomachs, like junk food or fast food.
